The Scholarship That Secures Your Future
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) participates in the Department of Defense (DoD) Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship program. This scholarship takes the stress and uncertainty out of your college experience. It provides full tuition, an annual stipend, summer internships, and a job with the NSWC IHD after graduation. If accepted into the program, you could work at NSWC IHD facilities at Indian Head, MD; the Pentagon in Arlington, VA; Picatinny, NJ; or McAlester, OK.
If you are a student at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU), and pursuing a degree in STEM,* we want to talk with you! Attend an upcoming call. NSWC IHD is hosting a series of webinars to help you determine your eligibility and build a winning application to the SMART Scholarship program.
