Modeling & Simulation

ETC offers a wide array of modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities ranging from energy release processes to 3D virtual reality. We work closely with the University of Maryland, IHD-NSWC and others to provide M&S services supporting the following efforts:

  • Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI)
  • Autonomous, Unmanned Vehicle performance
  • UAV weaponization
  • Energy release Processes
  • Explosive Ordnance Detonation (EOD)

When development of a production system is costly or requires testing to prove viability, virtual reality or modeling and simulation can be a viable solution. Computer-simulated environments can emulate places or events in the real world without the danger, cost, or other risks associated with a real world development. ETC is working with various clients to develop computer-based models to test and evaluate real world problems.
